Welcome to "The Lake House"; the lake front vacation rental property featuring a beautiful setting in a friendly, affordable environment for your Upper Michigan getaway. At The Lake House, you will enjoy a modest, cozy, fully-furnished home with an interior that evokes images of Lake Superior and its amazing coastline, with all of the glory of the big lake itself just a few footsteps from your door.

In Winter, The Lake House is a hideaway nestled in the woods where you can spend a restful evening after a day filled with snowy season activities. From November through March, The Upper Peninsula is a destination for winter vacationers as they enjoy The Noquemanon Ski Marathon, The U.P. 200 Sled Dog Race, The Michigan Tech Winter Carnival and countless winter festivals and special events. Miles of cross country ski trails are located near the Lake House at Blueberry Ridge; Marquette Mountain Ski Area is just 5 miles away, and features the best alpine skiing facility in the U.P. Snowmobile trails, snowshoe and hiking trails, ice fishing and more winter activities await the adventurous traveler.

In Summer, The Lake House's private Lake Superior beach is pristinely beautiful, with plenty of space and relaxing beach chairs available for you to spend hours in the sun while the waves trickle in at your feet. Wade out on the sandbar or venture further out for an invigorating swim. In the evening, lounge around a bond fire on the beach and pass the time telling stories while the sun sets and gives way to the magnificent starry night.

Conveniently located only eight minutes from downtown Marquette, The Lake House is the perfect place to enjoy both the tranquil beauty of the lake and still have quick and easy access to attractions in the greater Marquette area.

We invite you to join us on a brief tour of the Lake House and everything it has to offer. You'll see why we think it is a little bit of paradise in Upper Michigan.
